Merry Christmas to one and all

Merry Christmas, dear readers!

Well, Missa Brevis was beautiful, the small daughter was very well-behaved (although we will remember that Cathedral service as the "Wha-da?" service - her version of "What's that?"!) and she didn't sleep at all during the service - not that I really expected her to. She's too nosy for that. Bishop Tom preached a great sermon (and it was quite short, too - he tends to make his point and leave it at that. I approve!) and the place was packed out - which is saying something. It's a big building.

Thomas the Tank Engine went down a treat today and we've got the whole thing set up on the living room floor - and it takes up the whole living room floor, too - we waited until she went to sleep after Christmas lunch and then hubby, Mum & Dad and I set it all up and had huge fun playing with it! Mum and Dad had come over for Christmas lunch, and it was nice to share it with them.
