We've had a great weekend, although I'm absolutely shattered - and tomorrow is Monday! We has a bit of a staff do on Saturday afternoon, which was great fun, and today two of our closest friends got married and we did their photo shoot. It was a very full-on day, but a really fun one too.
We deposited the rugrat with my parents and waltzed off to Wellington Cathedral, and then various locations around Wellington (including the Lady Norwood Rosegarden at the Botanic Gardens, the kiddies' playground by the cablecar, and part of Victoria University, where our friends are still students). It was hilarious fun, especially the (unplanned) stop at the playground - in fact, some of the best shots of the day came from this completely off-the-cuff idea. Seeing the wh0le bridal party playing on the swings and slides in serious dresses and tail coats was just funny....
