Bits and pieces

The last few weeks have been manic: I've had a huge (nearly 7000 word) report to do for Risk Management and 3 weeks to do it in, insane amounts of work (the kind that I'm paid for), oh, and organising the office move which comes off tomorrow. And dammit, the truckies have decided to cavalcade a protest into the CBD tomorrow (announced this afternoon...) and so my removal people will probably be late and my whole moving schedule thrown out the window. Just when I thought my planning was flawless.

We finally got the bike situation sorted and took the rugrat for a bikeride - she looks so cute in her little helmet sitting in her child seat on the back of hubby's bike. He's planning to bike her to Playcentre (when the weather is appropriate), which will be good for both of them.

Have taken the night off study tonight to mellow out after packing the entire office by myself today, and caught the opening of the new season of Family Guy - an absolutely hysterical spoof of Star Wars (the original movie, the one they now call "Episode 4"), with Stewie as a very short and extremely cynical Darth Vader and Chris as Luke Skywalker.... it was all downhill from the opening sequence, really.

Apart from that lot, not much is happening.... there isn't time for much else to happen!
