Nothing much....

Mmmm. Mushrooms ... and steak ... and green veges .... Hubby outdid himself in the kitchen tonight. He did an amazing mushroom sauce-thing for our steak (porterhouse on sale today - yummy), with red wine and a bit of sour cream and garlic and seasoning. It even made broccoli edible.

Not much happens. Third Risk Management report is ongoing (now hovering around the 8,200 word mark and probably going to grow some more); Risk Management contact course (very interesting, and nice to meet some of the other students); small daughter and hubby are back at Playcentre, and hubby got one of his photos of the Petone Winter Carnival published in the Dominion Post on Tuesday.

Oh, and the cat has another abcess. He and the cat next door had a mild disagreement over who was actually allowed through our cat door and his ankle is now about the size of a golf ball - slowly shrinking with antibiotics. Hail to the clever person that designed sticky meat-tasting cat antibiotics in a syringe for smearing around cat mouths - at least he gets at least half the dose, rather than carefully eating around the tablet, leaving the crushed tablet entirely, or firing the tablet across the room once we've forced it into his mouth and made sure he's swallowed. And it means we go through less sticking plasters and pairs of leather gloves too.

Apart from that, the weather's foul, life is good (albeit busy) and it can't possibly be Friday again already.
