Airbus and airheads

I've been keeping my eyes on the media coverage of a number of events recently. Couldn't fail to hear that Wacko Jacko died, and that Farrah Fawcett did also. However, I was disgusted to notice on our TV news last night that the latest squabble about Michael Jackson's estate overshadowed a major aircraft crash and the collapse of a building in China. Who cares who's going to inherit his millions or look after kids that might or might not be his? The deaths of over a hundred and fifty people weren't important enough to be the lead story on TVNZ?

Airbus will be shaking in their shoes: this is the second major crash involving their aircraft in a month (the other being the Air France crash), with nearly 400 people killed. Not looking good....
