Tonight I feel very much like that answer. I want to flip over some tables and chase a few people with whips over the gendered language issues in our liturgy, hymns, and readings. I substitute things out but it still drives me crazy that I cannot walk into a church and hear God addressed as she as often as God is addressed as he, when that language is historically and biblically attested to.
Hence the Sophia liturgies. And some table-flipping of my own, I hope.
